Job description

We are looking for an experienced person to become part of our Contracts management team based at our site in Crabbswood Lane, Sway, SO41 6EQ.

You will be managing multiple sites throughout the New Forest area and liaising with our groundworkers, sub-contractors and suppliers as required.

Experience in construction is vital, as is a knowledge of plant. We deal with a varied range of projects from basic groundworks such as track laying/repairs to minor civil engineering projects.

Knowledge of estimating and quoting is essential as you will regularly be dealing with tenders from large environmental companies/organisations as well as requests for quotes from private individuals.

You will also be preparing risk assessments and be familiar with current Health & Safety regulations in relation to working sites.

Ordering materials from suppliers and ensuring that items are ready for the groundworkers is a required part of the role.

Key requirements

The role will require office experience (competency in Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook), as well as dealing with our varied customers in person, and via telephone and email. 

You will need to have the ability to communicate clearly and courteously with your colleagues and customers alike.

A full, clean driving licence is a given, as is the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
